Based upon SAOTA’s architectural renderings, the design of the house suggested a natural environment with an urban mood, similar to the modern villas and retreats of Sao Paolo, Brazil and Mexico City. The MASS Beverly team envisioned a resort-inspired residential home to evoke tranquility and serenity. The Hillside residence’s organic shapes, natural textures, and modern lines effortlessly integrate Henge’s unique collection and rich materials into the design. Stone bathrooms and kitchens mixed with soft leathers, lustrous metals, and tropical fauna create a mood of an oasis away from the hectic city life. Hillside’s design is a continuation of blending outdoor and indoor spaces and harmoniously combining contrasting layers.
